Founded in December 2014 and registered in May 2015, Uthando Solutions and Trading was born from Nokubonga Mnyango's vision of a litter-free environment — a dream she pursued by dedicating her life to environmental action and community service.

Today, we are an emerging force in KwaZulu-Natal's green economy sector. We operate a fully integrated recycling ecosystem in Empangeni that spans buy-back operations, plastic processing, and community development programmes.

Approximately 70% of our vendor network comprises local youth and recovering individuals. The revenue from recyclable sales is often their primary income source. Our work is not just about waste; it's about restoring dignity and building a sustainable future.
